Other questions I would ask include battery life, whether the screen has any marks or if the device has any dings or dents in general, if they are the first owner, when (and where) it was purchased, and general usage (are they reading on it for several hours every day? Are they keeping it charged or have just ignored it in a drawer etc) as that will give you a general idea regarding on battery condition. If you are close by and are able to examine it in person by meeting in a neutral public location, it would be good. The Kobo Elipsa (10.3") is the only Kobo with note-taking capabilities.Ī video is completely reasonable to ask, as well as close up photos. Also as a sidenote, the Forma is strictly an ereader, not a note-taker, so no stylus works with it. There could be a few reasons why the Forma hasn't sold, such as high price, or lack of interest in this model. I decided to get the Kobo Forma because of the size and physical buttons. I decided to go with the Kobo brand because of the ease of managing non-proprietary e-books, the only sort I have. I’m certainly reading a lot more since I’ve gotten it. It’s one of my favorite tech purchases I’ve made. If you’re still struggling I’ve read other people online mention factory resetting their e-reader. Grab a few USB cables and make sure you are trying different ports. I’m not up to speed on hardware enough to understand the issue but that’s really it. The resolution for not being able to connect It seems like every time I go to plug my Kobo e-reader in it doesn’t connect properly and I do it infrequently enough that I don’t always have everything I need ready. I can’t connect to my Kobo e-reader Linux Of course, I never connect it to wifi, I just upload PDFs I’ve downloaded and Epubs from.
